Trust & Estate Administration Paralegal

Our client, a premier national located in downtown Denver, is seeking a Trust & Estate Administration Paralegal with 10 years of experience to work with the attorneys and high net worth clients. This is a hybrid position with 2 days a week in-office.

Responsibilities

• Handling trust and probate administrations from start to finish, from simple to complex utilizing checklists and the probate assembly program.
• Preparing estate planning documents ranging from revocable dynasty trusts, irrevocable trusts, pour-over last wills and testaments, and incapacity documents.
• Interfacing with clients, preparing summary correspondences and acting as liaison between clients/attorney and court/attorney.
• Preparing and filing simple corporate documents, such as Articles of Organization, Operating Agreements, SS-4s, and other basic corporate documents.
• Preparation of gift tax returns and estate tax returns.
• Assisting clients with estate plan funding.

Requirements

• Minimum of ten (10) years of law firm experience required.
• Paralegal Certification from an ABA approved program is required.
• Advanced skills with Outlook and Word (using styles, track changes and document comparison programs). Demonstrated proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Advanced skills with Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to provide a high level of customer service and be able to clearly and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Must be detail-oriented, able to work independently and in a team environment, and able to implement high priority projects.
