IT Business Development Manager – Corporate IT Staffing
Location: Columbus, Ohio Area (Candidates must be local to Columbus/ Dublin ,Ohio
About the Role:
Our Company is seeking a highly motivated and energetic IT Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive our expansion into the non-state corporate sector. While we are a trusted partner for placing IT professionals in state-run organizations, our focus is now shifting toward acquiring corporate clients in need of mid-to-senior-level IT talent.
This is a growth-oriented role for someone with a strong network, exceptional sales instincts, and a passion for building client relationships in the private sector IT recruitment space.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and acquire corporate clients seeking IT staffing solutions
- Network with decision-makers (Hiring Managers, CIOs, CTOs, COOs, etc.) to uncover new business opportunities
- Research and target private sector companies through online platforms, social media, industry events, and cold outreach
- Develop and execute innovative marketing strategies and customized client proposals
- Set up and participate in meetings with potential clients and internal leadership
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction
- Promote new solutions and services to help expand client partnerships
- Forecast business growth, track sales goals, and report progress through detailed weekly reports
- Represent company at relevant industry functions, conferences, and networking events
- Ensure all company interactions reflect our brand values and professionalism.
Who We’re Looking For: * Bachelor’s degree required
- 8–10 years of proven experience in business development, marketing, or strategic sales in the IT staffing industry
- Strong background in corporate client acquisition
- Exceptional negotiation and closing skills
- Deep network of business contacts in the corporate sector
- Strong understanding of IT trends, technologies, and staffing needs
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
