ATCO STRUCTURES AND LOGISTICS (USA) INC. (“ASL-USA”) is seeking an Inventory Analyst for our Office in Diboll, TX. The Inventory Analyst is responsible for ensuring that inventory levels are maintained and managed to support the demands and reporting needs of both the accounting and procurement teams. This position reports to the Controller and is located in Diboll, TX.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages the inventory count activities and reconciles discrepancies to ensure data accuracy
- Maintains and develops sound inventory control processes to ensure accurate inventory records and proper material accounting to meet the audit requirements
- Keeps an up-to-date inventory master schedule, including quantity, type, and value
- Develops subject matter expertise regarding the operational and systemic flow of inventory, the financial impact of manufacturing purchase orders, and the accurate process for creating, receiving, and updating purchase orders in Oracle
- Researches the purchase order in Oracle, troubleshoots issues and corrects complex purchase order issues
- Works closely with the procurement team and Accounts Payable to process/resolve invoice discrepancies by determining the cause and initiating actions necessary to prevent future inconsistencies
- Conducts regular quality checks on incoming materials and finished goods to ensure compliance with established standards
- Performs product supply and demand data analysis to determine product placement for optimizing stockroom efficiency while improving productivity
- Serves as backup to the Shipping and Receiving Coordinator
- Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fields is preferred
- Experience using inventory management software and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) is required
- Financial knowledge and experience with Purchase Orders and Inventory Management is required
- Five (5) years of experience in warehousing, supply chain management or inventory management in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong understanding of inventory control with a high level of accuracy
- Exceptional data entry skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving
