What are the responsibilities and job description for the AT General Helper Plant 1 position at ATECO?
Position Summary: Performs workstation or line operations to assist the operator to
mass produce a product. Follows standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.
Essential Functions: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Grind or otherwise dispose of rejected materials.
- Fill hoppers (piggy-back) with material when needed and move raw materials in progress as needed.
- Responsible for the packing of the product and labeling the boxes according to the product that is being packed.
- Replaces employees that are on lunch breaks.
- Arrange merchandise such as (boxes, cardboards, materials, etc.).
- Responsible for the cleaning of the parking lot area and their workstation area; Empty garbage containers from production and parking lot area.
- Assist the Janitor, when necessary, on the cleaning of the restrooms, etc.
- Assembles packaging boxes.
- Other tasks that are necessary and not limited to those defined above may be performed.
- Reliable consistent attendance and the ability to perform overtime as requested.
