Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a world-class beverage program, featuring an extensive wine selection, spirits collection, and refined pairings tailored to the menu. Establish standard operating procedures for beverage service, wine storage, and inventory management.
- Oversee the day-to-day execution of the beverage program, ensuring seamless and sophisticated service.
- Train front-of-house staff in wine knowledge, tableside beverage presentation, and pairing recommendations to create a polished and intuitive guest experience.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a team of sommeliers and beverage professionals, fostering a culture of expertise, passion, and service excellence.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Beverage Director, Sommelier, or in a leadership beverage role within a fine dining establishment.
- Experience with a bar and lounge program required.
- Advanced wine certification (WSET Level 3 or Diploma, Court of Master Sommeliers Advanced, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Deep knowledge of global wine regions, viticulture, spirits, and fine dining beverage pairings.
- Impeccable service acumen, with the ability to engage and educate guests with grace, sophistication, and expertise.
- Strong leadership and team training experience, with a passion for mentorship and education.
- Ability to curate, manage, and evolve a beverage program that is both financially sustainable and of exceptional quality.
- Experience working with high-end reservation systems, POS platforms, and inventory management tools.
