POSITION : Box Office Associate

LOCATION : Sugar Land Texas

HOURS : Part-Time : evenings, weekends & holidays

COMPENSATION : $12 per hour

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Box Office Associate is a part-time role responsible for providing top-tier customer service while handling ticket sales, inquiries, and resolving issues in person from the box office. This position works closely with the Box Office Manager to ensure all ticketing operations run smoothly.

PEOPLE, PLACES, and THINGS

The Box Office Associate will work as part of a close-knit box office team, interacting frequently with venue staff and patrons. This position does not have any direct reports.

The role is event based, on-site, at the venue's box office and may require evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, especially during event times.

The associate will use ATG’s point-of-sale system and digital communication tools for sales and customer service.

EXPERIENCE and SKILLS

Previous Experience :

Prior experience in a customer service or retail environment is preferred, especially in ticketing, sales, or event management. Familiarity with ticketing software is a plus.

Required Skills :

Excellent verbal communication skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Ability to handle high-pressure situations, especially during peak event times.

Basic math and transaction handling skills, with accuracy in managing cash and credit transactions.

Comfort with computers and the ability to quickly learn ticketing systems and new software.
