POSITION: Capital Project Manager
LOCATION: New York City
HOURS: Full Time, flexible and extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal office hours
COMPENSATION: $125K-145K (Commensurate with Experience)
ABOUT THE POSITION
The Capital Project Manager will manage multiple on-going projects. The successful candidate will be working with an expanding central team based in New York City and will liaise with an international Group Ops team to ensure a consistent holistic approach to all delivery projects. They will also be instrumental in shaping existing and new processes to ensure compliance throughout the rapidly expanding US portfolio.

- Determines and defines project scope and objectives on capex projects, predict resources needed and prepare overall budget and timeline based on scope of work.
- Prepares RFPs for engagement of required consultants and manage consulting team(s) throughout project lifecycle.
- Manages project execution, resource deployment and overall coordination efforts to ensure projects are completed effectively and successfully
- Manages deliverables from all functional teams ensuring they meet the defined timeline and quality based on project guidelines
- Manages collection of all vendor insurance and monitoring to ensure validity during project lifecycle
- Chairs project meetings to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery
- Reviews and approves all consultant invoices and contractor payment applications
- Works closely with international property team, liaise as required to ensure projects and subsequent reporting are delivered per PMO standards
- Works closely with international group ops team including, risk, property and design managers
EXPERIENCE and SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 5-8 years of project management and related experience
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies and best practices
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outline scope, budget and timeline
