Join us as an afterschool instructor!
Athena Coding is seeking enthusiastic instructors to lead after-school classes in Coding (Scratch, Python, Minecraft), Arts & Crafts, Music Production, Filmmaking, Science, or Jewelry Making. Our classes are hosted at local schools, and are typically 1 hour a day. Lesson plans and materials are provided for the classes.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee a group of 5-20 children, ensuring a safe, structured, and fun learning environment.
- Lead hands-on lessons in your chosen subject; no expertise needed.
- Present engaging lessons that make learning exciting and exploratory.
We're looking for someone with:
- A friendly and encouraging personality that connects well with kids.
- A passion for working with children.
- Experience in teaching, tutoring, or working with kids is a plus, but not required.
