ATHENA is actively sourcing for an Accounting Manager for our manufacturing client located in Torrance, CA.
Responsibilities :
- The Accounting Manager will supervise one Accounts Payable team member and oversee the payment process, ensuring accurate expenditure recording and PTO calculations during bi-weekly payroll entries.
- Maintain fixed assets and monitor Construction-in-Progress projects, assisting with monthly inventory recording and quarterly evaluations, including LCM (lower of cost or market) and slow-moving inventory assessments as needed.
- Review and reconcile monthly and quarterly accounts, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements across subsidiaries while preparing reports and analyzing financial data for management.
- Act as a liaison with external and internal auditors during quarter-end and year-end audits, supporting compliance and reporting requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
