POSITION SUMMARY :

We are currently recruiting an LMSW Social Worker. This part-time position of 20 hours a week pays $40 an hour and is in Rockville, MD.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Provides; individual, family, and group therapy and site-based case management as needed to effectively collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary staff
Improve community functioning and self-sufficiency and to attain the client’s desired outcomes.
Provides each client an ongoing assessment,
Develops a person-centered treatment plan,
Defines appropriate modalities with the team,
Implements the plan, evaluates client progress regularly, and modifies interventions as needed to assist the client to achieve their goals.
Collaborates closely with the rest of the treatment team as well as other programs serving the client and participates effectively in the continuum of services.
Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required Skills / Abilities :

Spanish bilingual, required

Experience providing screenings, assessments, case management, and writing summaries

Knowledge of community resources

Ability to maintain electronic case management documentation

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently; must be self-motivated.

Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.

Ability to understand and adhere to the duties, methods, and procedures required by the position.

Education and Experience :

High School diploma, required.

Bachelor’s degree in related field, required

Master’s Degree in mental health profession : Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Drug and Alcohol Mental Health Counseling

Physical Requirements :

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Standard hours of work Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 am – 5 : 00 pm, however evening and weekend hours may be required.

Travel will be required.
