ATHENA is hiring a full-time, on-site Accounts Payable Specialist in Dayton, Oregon, offering a competitive hourly rate of $26 - $27.
Responsibilities:
- The Accounts Payable Specialist will process invoices, verify approvals, and ensure accurate account coding.
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve AP-related inquiries.
- Manage payments, monitor discounts, and track expense allocations.
- Perform monthly reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP principles, company policies, and AP best practices.
Requirements:
- 2 years of full-cycle accounts payable experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger coding, accruals, and 3-way matching.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word (Oracle experience a plus).
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, essential for an Accounts Payable Specialist.
