What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrator in Training (AIT) position at Athena Health Care Systems?
The Tremont Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in Wareham, Massachusetts is excited to welcome an Administrator-in-Training to learn from our seasoned Licensed Nursing Home Administrator!
Under the supervision of our administrator, you will learn the day-to-day operations of running a skilled nursing facility while better understanding the departments and personnel that make up the team.
Tremont is a 104-bed skilled nursing facility offering short-term care and long-term rehab located at 605 Main Street in Wareham.
During your AIT internship, you will be able to :
- Assist with managing day-to-day operations.
- Immerse yourself in the laws and regulations on a federal and state level.
- Understand how to build bonds and trust with residents and their loved ones.
- Communicate with team members to understand their role and how it impacts the facility.
- Fulfill your required hours to sit for your exam.
- And much more!
Our team will assist in the state application process including the written request form for the proposed AIT internship, a letter from the proposed preceptor, the detailed outcome of the proposed AIT internship, and the signed agreement between preceptor and candidate.
