Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures per physician orders and state/federal regulations
- Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
- Position patients accurately and safely; assess condition and make necessary procedural adjustments
- Evaluate lab values and screen for contraindications before administering contrast media
- Monitor patients during imaging procedures and document findings or concerns
- Maintain detailed and compliant patient records
- Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- CT registration and licensure from the Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS)
- ARRT Certification in Radiography
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- CT certification (must be obtained within 1 year of hire)
Work Requirements
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to lift/move patients and equipment (with assistance) up to 300 lbs
- Comfortable working in environments with radiation, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases
