We are looking for A licensed CT Technician in Arizona with ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology, Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS) licensure, and BLS certification. Must have experience in CT imaging procedures, patient positioning, radiation safety, and equipment operation. Candidates without CT certification must obtain it within one year of hire. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare setting while ensuring high-quality patient care
Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures under the direction of a Radiologist and in accordance with state regulations.
- Ensure proper patient positioning, exposure settings, and radiation safety protocols.
- Assess patient conditions and adjust imaging procedures as needed for optimal diagnostic results.
- Prepare and operate CT equipment, ensuring proper function and maintenance.
- Evaluate lab values before administering contrast media and identify contraindications.
- Monitor patients during procedures, documenting any reactions or concerns.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications Required
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- Licensure:
- Current CT registration and licensure by the Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS)
- Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- CT certification (must be obtained within one year of hire)
- Work Requirements:
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and communicate effectively.
- Capability to lift/move patients and equipment over 300 lbs with assistance.
- Ability to work in an environment with exposure to bodily fluids, infectious diseases, and radiation.
