Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Minimum of three years clinical experience in Perioperative Nursing. Knowledge of Regulatory and Professional Standards in the Perioperative

Department. Must have the ability to function in all aspects of the Operating Room.

Licensure in the State of Maine as a Registered Nurse.

Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred or willing to obtain within two years of hire. BLS, ACLS, PALS required or willing to obtain within six months of hire

Main Function: Maintain management of OR staff and scheduling.

Must have good communication skills. Promote quality improvement within the department.

Participates in the development and implementation of hospital policies and procedures. Understanding, maintaining, and developing a budget for the department.
