A leading critical access hospital located in northern Maine is currently searching for an experienced Operating Room Nurse Manager to join their accredited healthcare team.
This organization provides access to world-class acute care services to a population of roughly 14,000 people. The inpatient services provided include cardiology, emergency medicine, orthopedics, and wound care. This system also provides various outpatient services including laboratory procedures, physical therapy, occupational therapy, radiology, chemotherapy, same-day surgery, cardiac and pulmonary rehab, nutritional counseling, home health, and respiratory care.
Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Operating Room Nurse Manager will oversee the clinical and administrative operations of the surgical suite. This department currently utilizes two operating rooms and one endoscopy suit. Primary responsibilities of the Nurse Manager include management of staff schedules, oversight of department resources, ensures quality patient care, maintains compliance with regulatory standards, provides clinical training, and offers direct patient care as needed.
What’s Needed to Succeed:
- Registered Nurse RN license in the state of Maine or ability to obtain
- Prior circulating or surgical experience
- Prior leadership experience is a plus!
