We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable International Purchasing Agent to join our team. This role is essential in managing the logistics, customs and vendor relationships with offshore companies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in working with international suppliers, US Customs, international and domestic shipment.

Responsibilities
- Communication with vendors, shippers and customs agents to monitor inbound orders.
- Reviewing requisition requests, prepare purchase orders and solicit bids for goods and services.
- Interact with company leadership and sales team to understand upcoming needs and desired stock levels.
- Negotiating and administering contracts with suppliers and vendors.
- Analyzing financial reports, price proposals and other data to determine reasonable prices for goods and services.
- Balancing cost and quality to procure the best quality of goods or services for the lowest price in adequate amounts.
- Monitoring and adhering to applicable laws, regulations and policies regarding the purchase of goods and services.
