About the Client Relations Intern position
We are seeking a Client Relations Intern, who is eager to contribute on a large scale. The intern will gain visibility into the inner workings and aspects of the client relations field, provide concrete deliverables and learn from top to bottom. It is a great opportunity for a passionate, creative, and focused graduate or exceptional undergraduate student who is interested in a career in sports or entertainment management.
*This internship session will last for approximately 9 months – beginning August 25, 2025 and ending May 22, 2026
*This position is based out of the Gainesville, FL office *
Client Relations Intern responsibilities and projects include:
- Brand and sponsorship outreach
- Building relationships with new companies/locations
- Developing client resources
- Create coaching and executive profiles for current clients and in-depth background bios of potential recruits
- Making reservations (Concierge assistance)
- Procuring and leading efforts related to client gifts
- Research, coordinate, and assist with event logistics on a needed basis (Super Bowl, NFL Combine, Athletes First company events, etc.)
- General office duties and administrative services as assigned
Client Relations Intern requirements include:
- Extremely organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Detail oriented
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Critical thinker and problem solver
- Strong ability to work as part of a team, as some coworkers will be in satellite offices
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and other programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Canva, etc.)
- Familiar with social networking platforms (X, Instagram, etc.)
- Must have a car as some tasks will require intern to travel
- Graduated or pursuing a degree in Sports Management, Public Relations, Communications or a related field
**This person would be expected to be available “after hours” as our clients make requests even after the business day and on weekends.
