- The basics of American Sign Language
- Alphabets & Numbers
- American Deaf culture & history
- ASL communication skills -receptive(listening) and expressive (speaking)
- Practice using vocabulary in conversation

Location: Amesbury Middle School
220 Main Street
Amesbury, MA 01913
Dates: 3/31/25 - 5/12/25
Day of the Week: Monday
Grades 6th - 8th
Time: 2:45 pm - 3:45 pm (arrival is 15-20 minutes before the start of the program)
Background Check - TBD
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 per week
Schedule:
- After school
- Monday to Friday
- No nights
- No weekends
Experience:
- Teaching: 1 year (Required)
- ASL: 3 years (Required)
Ability to Relocate:
- Amesbury, MA 01913: Relocate before starting work (Required)
