Job Summary:
Pioneer Valley Regional School is seeking a Head Coach for the Outdoor Track & Field program. The coach will oversee all aspects of the program, including athlete development, event training, and team management.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement training programs for various track and field events.
Teach proper techniques for running, jumping, and throwing events.
Organize and lead practices, ensuring athlete safety and development.
Supervise assistant coaches and support staff.
Communicate with student-athletes, parents, and school administration.
Coordinate team participation in meets and events.
Ensure compliance with league and school athletic regulations.
Qualifications:
Previous coaching experience in track & field preferred.
Strong knowledge of track & field techniques and training methods.
Leadership and organizational skills.
CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
