Special Education Paraprofessional

We are looking to add a paraprofessional to our team that puts our children first. We are committed to providing students with a positive learning environment focused on meeting the needs of all learners. Paraprofessionals will assist teachers in providing an innovative, high-quality education program designed to meet the needs of the children. Paraprofessionals will work with school staff to create an educational environment in which quality and continuity are key factors in educating the students. Supports direct instruction to student(s) with special needs in Preschool Floating schedule to support multiple needs at RCS Provides assistance with learning activities, behavior modification plans, de-escalation, and supportive plans May prepare instructional materials and carry out instructional plans Assists in classroom set up and clean up. Manages individual learning and behavior using prescribed approaches. Supports student(s) during lunch, snack, and/or recess Work closely with the adjustment counselor, special education coordinator, and special education teacher to adjust supportive plans as needed. Ability to be flexible Performs other related duties as requested by the principal.
