Athol Savings Bank is seeking a seasoned Residential Mortgage Originator to join our lending team, focusing on originating mortgages in Western Middlesex and Worcester Counties. We provide a broad range of mortgage products, including construction and portfolio loan programs, backed by an exceptional operations team.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a proven ability to generate mortgage loans and cultivate a robust referral network that includes realtors, builders, and other key influencers. Active participation in community-based activities is also essential. The Residential Mortgage Originator will work closely with customers to identify the best mortgage solutions, leveraging their in-depth knowledge of mortgage criteria, documentation, credit requirements, and all applicable Federal and State regulations.
Ideal candidates will have:
- 3-5 years of sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding loan production goals.
- A solid understanding of finance and lending products.
- The ability to work independently, maintain flexibility, and communicate professionally and effectively.
