As an asbestos estimator you will be visiting sites across the the area, preparing thorough estimates using blueprints and other data to predict the cost of labor. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has asbestos / demolition experience and is looking for a challenge with an established industry leader.
Essential Functions of the Job :
- Gather proposals, blueprints, and specification for work to be estimated
- Complete cost analysis for Labor, Material, and Time
- Build and maintains a database for cost analysis
- Identify time requirements, labor and material use proposals, blueprints, and specifications
- Manage multiple projects with firm deadlines
- Utilize a unique perspective on problem resolution by collecting and analyzing information
- Interpret project specifications, drawings, and contracts
- Attend pre bid meetings, understanding bid documents to include plans and specs
