Job Description
The Process Controls and Automation Engineer intern will be responsible for troubleshooting complex issues with sensors, switches, relays, PLCs, variable drives, motors, and crane controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in process controls and automation, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of mill models and control systems.
- Monitor performance and make real-time adjustments to maintain optimal process parameters.
- Troubleshoot complex issues with sensors, switches, relays, PLCs, variable drives, motors, and crane controls.
- Analyze problems and complete projects to improve process efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement modifications to electrical systems.
