What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping/Receiving Attendant position at ATI?
Additional Responsibilities :
- Unloads / opens all incoming packages. Uses crane and hand-operated equipment to aid in unloading.
- Checks in incoming supplies with packing slips to ensure accuracy and completion
- Conducts daily forklift inspections
- Operates various types of forklift trucks to shift, stack and load other trucks. Transports loads as directed.
- Exercises care in operating vehicle, observing and following all safety protocols
- Moves incoming supplies and material to proper storage areas
- Pack products in boxes, crates, etc or on pallets to conform to specifications and requirements.
- Checks shipment for correct materials, packing and crating, tagging and handling instructions, loading and bracing. Completes necessary paperwork.
