ATI is currently seeking a Senior Director Operational Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), reporting to our Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), to work hands on with our business unit finance teams across the enterprise to identify tools, monitor objectives and drive performance of business. This operational finance leader will focus on managing the profitability of business operations by preparing short and long-range forecasting of operational and capital budgets, variance analysis, and annual and multi-year planning. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of financial strategy, business planning, and operations finance, with a track record of success in high-growth, mid to large manufacturing environments. This influential finance professional will work hands on across 2 business units valued at approximately 2 billion dollars. Collaborating with finance professionals to influence and communicate skills to lead alignment across broader finance teams and business units to improve working capital, yield improvements and optimize financial decisions.

This role is based out of our ATI Headquarters in Dallas, Texas
Responsibilities
- Travel up to 60% across 2 business units in the U.S. the first year to work hands on to understand and drive financial performance, up to 40% travel in following years
- Leverage internal and external information to analyze financial results, understand key deliverables, and identify risks and opportunities that are critical to the success of ATI
- Review significant growth and cost reduction initiatives including capital projects, long-term agreements, and cost reductions
- Perform monthly and quarterly income and cash projections
- Develop and review presentations for business leaders
- Ensure delivery of financial commitments, drive standardization initiatives, and assist with streamlining financial reporting processes
- Perform Capital expenditure analysis reviews
- Oversee the preparation of detailed financial analysis and reports to support business units and executive decision-making
- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance, investment opportunities, and strategic initiatives
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, while continuously improving processes and systems
- Lead or participate in ad-hoc analysis on business performance or special projects
- Consolidation of annual and five-year strategic business plans for focused business units
- Implement change management and continuous improvement across the finance organization
- Set clear objectives and performance expectations ensuring alignment with broader company goals
- Mentor and influence business unit finance teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement while promoting professional growth and development of team members through training, feedback, and career development opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business, MBA preferred
- 10 years progressive working experience with a combination of FP&A, operational finance, and strategic finance in a mid to large manufacturing environment
