- Work tenure is extremely important
- core accounting skills - highly skilled: general ledger, journal entries, QuickBooks and/or NetSuite exp
- someone who presents well with a personality who can work with multiple clients, interested in working for an IT company who is about to go into hyper growth mode
- experience from a well known company, doesn't need to be big4, but not a small random private company or small public accounting firm
