Senior Fullstack Engineer (Java and Kotlin)

Position : Senior Fullstack Engineer (Java and Kotlin)

Location : Chicago, IL

Type : 6 months contract to Hire

Key Responsibilities :

Design and implement a web-based application and services using Spring Boot with Java and Kotlin.

Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure code quality and reliability.

Engage in pair programming sessions with other engineers to foster knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, ship, and maintain new and existing features / functionalities.

Provide release and production support.

Required Qualifications :

Proven experience as a Senior Fullstack Engineer (This is a MUST).

Strong expertise in Spring Boot with Java and Kotlin (This is a MUST).

Strong understanding of unit testing and integration testing (This is a MUST).

Strong knowledge in Postgres or any SQL database (This is a MUST).

Experience with GitHub Actions (This is a MUST).

Willingness to participate in pair programming (This is a MUST).

Knowledge of Ktor is a BIG plus.

Experience with MongoDB or any NOSQL database.

Proficiency in React.js and Next.js.

Solid background in AWS services and infrastructure.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
