We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Iselin , NJ, New York City, NY, or Philadelphia, PA to lead and work on various structures projects with the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) and the New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTA).

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to :
- Being a dedicated business builder who will utilize existing relationships to identify and pursue business opportunities as well as recruit top technical staff.
- Serving clients on major projects, using a sound technical background, excellent communication and organizational skills and thorough knowledge and understanding of New Jersey design details and standards.
- Maintaining relationships with clients, both public and private, as well as representatives of local, state and federal regulatory agencies.
- Working with leadership to promote design excellence, provide leadership and mentoring while driving the strategic plan for the office.
- Leveraging existing and developing new NJDOT and NJTA relationships to identify and pursue business opportunities.
- Playing a key role leading pursuits and supporting proposal development for NJDOT and NJTA.
- Professional and project management expertise in the direction of highly unconventional projects requiring multiple technical units and / or subcontractors, heavy regulatory agency involvement, or highly complex technical requirements.
- Serving as a mentor to less experienced peers to assist in their training and development.
- Performing the essential project functions of production coordination, planning, organizing, directing, controlling, financial management and marketing.

Expected compensation range is between $115k-$145k ) annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location. This salary is negotiable based on experience and expertise.
Upon acceptance of an offer, all candidates must go through a drug screen test and background check. AtkinsRéalis is a federal contractor which mandates a satisfactory background screening report and drug test that supersedes state laws.

Salary : $115,000 - $145,000
