Janitor - $20.00/hour
Who we are looking for:
We are currently looking for a Janitor to be based out of Cartersville, GA. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Janitor’s primary focus will be to exceed client expectations, ensuring that all floors and offices are clean and trash is removed on schedule. Work area would include all offices, breakroom, restrooms and working shopfloor.
Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.
What you’ll do:
- Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors
- Clean buildings by emptying trash cans, servicing restrooms and wiping down communal surfaces
- Tackle heavy cleaning jobs upon request
- Ensure outside walkways remain clear and free of debris
- Notify building management of any repairs required
- Mix and dispose of all cleaning solutions appropriately

What you’ll bring:

- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning
- Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during working hours
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage and disposal methods
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team
- Excellent organizational skills a must
- Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision

Working Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may sometimes be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the plant environment can be loud. Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds. The manufacturing plant is not climate controlled. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; safety glasses, hearing protectors, hi-visibility uniforms, and metatarsal steel-toed work boots.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $19.34/hour. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
