Overview:
Founded in 2002, ATL is one of the largest carriers of Northern California. We are
seeking a skilled and experienced Freight Broker to join our wonderful team. The ideal
candidate will have a strong background in transportation management systems and
logistics, with a focus on managing freight shipments from start to finish, ensuring timely
delivery of freight. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic
industry and contribute to the success of our logistics operations.
Duties:
1. Rate negotiation with carriers to secure transportation for shipments.
2. Coordinate and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
3. Develop and maintain relationships with shippers and carriers.
4. Stay informed about transportation planning and pricing trends.
5. Providing customers with accurate and detailed updates on the enroute
shipments.
6. Manage dispatching activities by creating and organizing the correct entries in
the TMS system and sending the correct rate confirmations in a timely manner.
7. Prospecting new clients, developing effective sales strategies and reporting on
sales activities.
Requirements
1. At least 3 years’ experience in freight brokerage and shipment planning
2. Thorough knowledge of supply chain operations
3. Strong sales and negotiation skills
4. Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs
5. Excellent communication skills and teamwork

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
