Cosmetology Instructor

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Cosmetology Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various cosmetology practices and a desire to educate and inspire the next generation of beauty professionals. This role involves teaching students about essential techniques, trends, and safety practices in the cosmetology field, including but not limited to aesthetic treatments, hair care, nail care, and body waxing.

Responsibilities

• Implement engaging lesson plans that cover a wide range of cosmetology topics.
• Educate students on techniques such as haircutting, permanent waving, chemical relaxing, hair color etc.
• Provide hands-on training and demonstrations to enhance student learning.
• Assess student performance through practical evaluations and written tests.
• Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes student success.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure curriculum relevance.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and safety standards in all instructional activities.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology instructor license required
• Previous teaching or training experience is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
• A commitment to fostering a supportive educational environment.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
