Position : Clinical Director Salary : $110-130K
Reports to : Regional CD
Overtime Status : Exempt
Scope : The Center Director will function in both an operational and clinical capacity. The primary responsibilities are to effectively and efficiently run the assigned center, supervise BCBAs and BCBA Interns, provide clinical support to BTs, RBTs, BCBAs, and other clinical staff within their assigned center, and ensure that clients and families are receiving high-quality, effective, assent-based, and ethical clinical services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Provide clinical supervision to each BCBA and BCBA Intern assigned to you in accordance with the following guidelines :
Provides onboarding, training, and ongoing support to newly hired BCBAs and BCBA Interns
Recruiting, Interviewing for BCBAs, BCBA Inters, and BTs & RBTs.
Initial Assessments and Supervisory billing for Interns, and BCBAs pending credentialing. May be required to attend and / or review sessions, sign off on notes to ensure caseload requirements are met.
Provides clinical guidance and mentorship on a daily basis.
Supervises each client on supervisees caseload as appropriate for proper review of BCBAs treatment plans, behavior intervention plans, and other documentation
Completes assigned treatment fidelity and clinical quality checks
Completes probationary and annual reviews for each supervisee w / action plans
Provide assistance and support with clinic operations in accordance with the following guidelines :
Assist with maintaining master schedule
Assist with addressing client emergencies
Assists with implementation of company policies and procedures
Assist with staff performance issues
Assists in monitoring the schedule and providing coverage when necessary
Maintain clinical assessment and treatment materials
Helps foster our company culture and a positive work environment
Completes probationary and annual reviews for supervisees
Observe each child’s scheduled therapy hours, with an emphasis on having daily contact with each BCBA and RBT
Administer RBT and BCBA Competency exams
Maintain professional behavior and represent company leadership
Adhere to the BACB’s Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts®
Meet at least weekly with leadership team and / or direct supervisor to discuss concerns and suggestions for improvement, and provide and accept performance feedback
Complete training, certification, and testing requirements as assigned
Provide supervision to assigned BCBAs, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Therapists (BTs) including completion of annual performance appraisals, RBT competence assessments, BACB supervision documentation (if applicable), and any required disciplinary action
Other duties as assigned
Provide case management support as needed in accordance with the following guidelines :
Conducts intake assessments for patients using AAC curriculum
Creates skill-acquisition and behavior reduction programs and strategies
Participates in interdisciplinary collaboration / meetings with OMs, speech and occupational therapists, providers, and other members of the care team.
Analyzes patient data and makes necessary program modifications
Models implementation of treatment for BCaBAs, RBTs, and BTs
Evaluates staff performance, provides training, and feedback
Completes progress reports in accordance with structured deadlines
Conducts patient re-assessments when necessary
Conducts caregiver training as required
Provides exemplary leadership through hands-on training and modeling of ethical conduct
Meet minimum billable requirements based on ‘CD Phases’ with direct report BCBAs also meeting minimum requirements.

Required Qualifications and Skills :
- Maintain status as an active BCBA with approval to supervise by completing at least the minimum required Continuing Education requirements (including Supervision CEUs) and recertifying every two years
- At least 3 years’ experience working as a BCBA
- Ability to learn and utilize CentralReach and Catalyst for scheduling and billing, creating authorization and reauthorization reports, creating treatment plans, monitoring data, and monitoring available service hours
- Possession of active CAQH portal account with ability to be credentialed as an approved provider with the company’s network of insurance providers
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and the ability to meet Georgia driving requirements with dependable means of transportation
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination in accordance with FDA guidance
- Safety-Care or Safety-Care for Families Specialist Certification or ability to complete training requirements in the first month of employment
- CPR / First Aid Certification or ability to complete training requirements in the first month of employment
- Works both independently as well as part of a team
- Empathetic and supportive with leadership team, staff, clients and families Work Environment and Physical Demands :
- Ability to stand and move around, get up and down from the floor or a chair, and otherwise able to play with a child for several hours at a time.
- Ability to see for purposes of reading laws and codes, rules and policies, and other printed matter and observing students
- Ability to hear and understand speech at normal speech levels, in the English language
- Ability to communicate so others will be able to clearly understand normal conversation
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Ability to tolerate moderate to high stress levels
- Ability to utilize Safety-Care Training when interacting with individuals that may be displaying physically aggressive, self-injurious, or socially inappropriate behavior
