Who We Are :
The Atlanta Community Food Bank is working to end hunger in our community with the food, people and big ideas needed so that no one worries where their next meal is coming from. Since 1979, we’ve been providing food for a growing network of nonprofit partners – including food pantries, community kitchens, childcare centers, night shelters and senior centers. We currently serve more than 700 partners in 29 counties across metro Atlanta and north Georgia.

About the Role :
This individual will be charged with providing HR support and service to our diverse team of Food Bankers, with a specific focus on Talent Acquisition. The ideal candidate for this role is creative, detail oriented, organized, and is a trust and relationship builder. The Food Bank’s mission is carried out through a strong and talented team. As the Talent Acquisition Specialist II, your objective will be to add qualified team members for a variety of roles who embrace the Food Bank’s mission and align with the culture. What You’ll Do :
Talent Acquisition and Sourcing :
Leverage social media platforms to attract and connect with candidates, promoting open positions and enhancing the employer brand.
Identify and source candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
Conduct candidate screenings, interviews, and assessments to evaluate qualifications and fit for open positions.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting and candidate sourcing to offer negotiation and onboarding.
Develop and maintain a talent pipeline to ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
Relationship Building :
Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers and other stakeholders to understand their hiring needs and priorities.
Collaborate with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, and define candidate requirements
Provide regular updates and feedback to hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Champion Compliance, Equity and Inclusivity :
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to recruitment, including equal employment opportunity (EEO) laws and data privacy regulations.
Implement diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives to promote a diverse workforce and attract candidates from underrepresented groups.
Monitor diversity hiring metrics and collaborate with internal stakeholders to create inclusive recruitment practices.

What You’ll Need : Skills your resume should demonstrate :
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates and internal teams, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely and efficient recruitment processes
Keen attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with recruiting procedures
Very comfortable working with CRMs and other platforms
Ability to work collaboratively with departments to align recruitment efforts with organizational goals
Strong problem-solving abilities to address recruitment challenges and find innovative solutions

Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, including job posting optimization, candidate evaluation techniques, and offer negotiation strategies
Proven skillset in full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and managing offers
