As a dispatcher at Atlanta Dash you will be responsible for the following :
- Receiving incoming calls
- Prioritizing requests
- Coordinating the dispatch of drivers to appropriate locations by utilizing computer software
- Ensuring timely response to customer needs while monitoring their status throughout the delivery
- Updating route information
- Providing critical updates to field personnel based on changing situations
- Utilizing mapping software to determine the most efficient route for drivers, considering traffic conditions and other factors
- Maintaining clear communication with drivers and addressing any issues that arise
- Updating dispatch systems with relevant information
- Keeping detailed records of dispatch information in computer system
- Ability to respond to urgent situations if they arise by quickly dispatching appropriate personnel and coordinating necessary actions
