You will learn physiology and cutting-edge researched therapies as it applies to a vast array of chronic conditions.
A Medical Scribe is essentially a personal assistant to the physician; performing documentation in the EHR, gathering patient’s history to include past medical history, family medical history, medication history, chief complaint and partnering with the physician to deliver the pinnacle of efficient patient care.
- Assist the physicians with workflow by functioning as a liaison between the provider and the other staff.
- Track and document laboratory orders and results.
- Have knowledge of medical terminology.
- Ability to type at 50 words per minute.
- Prepare plans for follow-up care, as directed by the provider.
- Must have a passion for medicine and a desire to grow.
- Must be adaptable and be willing to take constructive criticism.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Eclinical Works EMR experience preferred but not required.
- 2 years of Medical Scribe experience required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
