  • Office Management:
  • Supervise administrative staff, such as receptionists, medical billers, and office assistants.
  • Ensure the office environment is organized, clean, and efficient.
  • Oversee office scheduling, patient appointments, and manage workflow to ensure timely service.
  • Financial Management:
  • Oversee billing and coding for insurance claims, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, and maintain financial records.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, analyze financial data, and monitor cash flow.
  • Human Resources:
  • Manage recruitment, training, and onboarding of new staff members.
  • Coordinate employee schedules, payroll, and performance reviews.
  • Handle employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
  • Compliance and Regulations:
  • Ensure the practice is in compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
  • Oversee the maintenance of patient records, ensuring confidentiality and proper documentation.
  • Ensure that the practice adheres to medical billing standards and ethical guidelines.
  • Patient Relations:
  • Address patient concerns and complaints to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Oversee patient communication, including appointment reminders, follow-ups, and information dissemination.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Technology and Systems Management:
  • Manage the practice's medical software, ensuring proper usage and troubleshooting issues.
  • Oversee the implementation of new technology and ensure staff is trained.
  • Maintain electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant databases.
  • Reporting and Communication:
  • Generate regular reports on financials, patient volumes, and practice performance for leadership or physicians.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and external stakeholders such as insurance companies and vendors.
  • Prepare and manage correspondence, including patient communications and office memos.
  • Marketing and Business Development:
  • Assist with marketing strategies to attract new patients, including overseeing social media, advertising, and community outreach.
  • Monitor patient acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Facilities Management:
  • Ensure the practice’s physical infrastructure is maintained, including equipment and supplies.
  • Oversee vendor contracts, supply orders, and equipment maintenance.

The role demands a combination of organizational, financial, interpersonal, and leadership skills to maintain a well-run, efficient, and compliant medical practice.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift
