The Executive Director of College & Career K-12 is responsible for advancing college and career readiness across grades K-12, overseeing programs such as CTAE, JROTC, Fine Arts, Advanced / Accelerated Content, and Master Scheduling. This role emphasizes equitable access to programs that prepare students for post-secondary success. The Executive Director collaborates with district leaders, school administrators, and community partners to build a vision for student success, integrating high-quality programs and pathways that support graduation, dual enrollment, and diverse career options. This role also ensures compliance with all state and federal laws and Department of Education regulations. Additionally, the Executive Director initiates the development, implementation, and monitoring of strategic plans that enhance the district's college and career preparation and readiness culture.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Lead College & Career Program Development and Implementation
- Provide leadership for district programs, including CTAE, JROTC, IB, STE(A)M, AP, Dual Enrollment, and other advanced academics, ensuring alignment with district goals to create meaningful college and career pathways.
- Prepare and present annual reports for Senior Leadership and the Board of Education, summarizing program performance, student outcomes, and progress toward readiness goals.
Foster Professional Development and Instructional Excellence
Engage Families and Community in College & Career Readiness
Oversee Budgeting, Resource Allocation, and Grant Applications
Monitor Legislative Impact and Ensure Compliance
Set and Track Strategic Goals with Data-Driven Decision Making
Ensure Vertical Alignment with Curriculum & Instruction for Readiness
Manage Staff Supervision and School-Based Support
Facilitate Equitable Access through Master Scheduling
