Currently we are hiring a Commissioning Technician to join our team in Texas

Duties And Responsibilities

• Develop QA/QC documents for the Vendor OSM equipment and the onsite utility equipment
• Participate in QA/QC walks to ensure equipment been constructed is to the required quality and specification standards required.
• Support complete commissioning and performance acceptance testing of the electrical / mechanical infrastructure systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations throughout the commissioning process.
• Participate in Functional performance testing (FPT) of client electrical / mechanical systems.
• Responsible for ensuring installation complies with local codes and national standards.
• Conduct facility walk downs, turnover, and punch list reviews

• You have authority to stop the job if you feel there is an unsafe work practice which could result in a risk of injury, have an environmental impact or risk to equipment and other personnel.
  
  

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in similar commissioning roles for major high-tech construction projects.
• Trade Qualified
• Knowledge of data centre operations and infrastructure.
• Good knowledge of Data centre Commissioning (levels 0-6).
• Able to communicate verbally, electronically and written to convey information in an effective manner.
• Understand equipment and systems, schematics, specifications and drawings and be able to identify field discrepancies for resolution.
• Understanding the sequence of construction and commissioning activities.
