We are actively searching for a Collegiate Nurse. This position is a flexible student nurse position designed to strengthen clinical skills and confidence. Collegiate nurses will be partnered with experienced teams to perform direct and indirect care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in the acute care environment. This ancillary position will report directly to a seasoned registered nurse and will be included in discussion surrounding assessment, planning, and evaluating patients. Care given will encompass the biophysical, psychosocial, cultural, self-care, learning, and continuing care needs of the patients as appropriate to age and diagnosis.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate must be a current nursing student with completion of Fundamentals of Nursing (or equivalent course) and associated clinical. Must have current Maryland State Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) certification and Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
