Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000/year bonus
Location: Lowell, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)
Responsibilities as the Accounting Manager (Manufacturing):
- Financial Oversight: Manage journal entries, reconciliations, and financial close activities, ensuring GAAP and IFRS compliance.
- Cost Accounting: Oversee cost accounting, inventory analysis, and gross margin impact to support strategic decisions.
- Financial Reporting: Conduct financial analysis, identify trends, and ensure accurate internal and external reporting.
- Process Optimization: Drive process improvements and automation using ERP systems to enhance efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Support: Provide cost analysis and financial insights to optimize operations.
- Audit & Tax Compliance: Collaborate with auditors and tax advisors to meet regulatory requirements.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or auditing, with a strong preference for manufacturing and cost accounting experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in ERP systems and implementation is required, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint essential for financial analysis and reporting.
- Accounting Standards Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS, with experience managing financial compliance and reporting.
- Skills & Attributes: Proven problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Process Improvement & Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage transactional accounting activities, drive process efficiencies, and support financial decision-making.
