Job Overview – Finance Analyst:

Atlantic Group is hiring a Finance Analyst to join our client’s finance team in Stamford, CT, overseeing financial operations for the Real Estate Equity and Specialty Finance divisions. This in-office role is ideal for a finance professional with expertise in fund accounting, loan tracking, and financial analysis within the alternative investment space. You’ll collaborate across teams to ensure financial accuracy, enhance reporting processes, and support audits and tax compliance while driving key analytical insights.

Compensation: $100,000 – $110,000/year bonus

Location: Stamford, CT

Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)

Responsibilities as the Finance Analyst:

• Fund Administration: Review workpapers, loan tracking, and financial reports from administrators and servicers.
• Accounting & Reconciliations: Maintain shadow accounting to ensure accuracy in cash and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Budgeting & Analysis: Analyze budget-to-actual comparisons for the real estate equity business.
• Lender & Investor Relations: Prepare draw packages and ensure compliance with financial agreements.
• Audit & Tax Compliance: Support fund audits and tax reporting with external auditors and advisors.
• Financial Modeling & Reporting: Maintain deal models, fund projections, and develop new financial reports.
  
  

Qualifications for the Finance Analyst:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required (CPA preferred).
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in fund administration, private equity, alternative investments, or public accounting.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong Excel skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with NAV exposure preferred.
• Skills & Attributes: Analytical, detail-oriented, and efficient, with strong problem-solving and communication skills for presenting complex data insights.
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of investment product life cycles, fund structures, and real estate equity finance.
