Job Overview – Senior Outsourcing Accountant (Hybrid):
Compensation: $90,000 – $105,000/year bonus
Location: Burlington County, NJ
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is seeking a Senior Outsourcing Accountant (Hybrid) for our client in Burlington County, NJ. In this hybrid role, you’ll deliver full-cycle accounting and advisory services to a portfolio of small-to-midsize businesses. Ideal for a client-facing professional, this opportunity involves financial reporting, payroll, and reconciliations, while also mentoring clients on best practices, system optimization, and operational improvements through both remote and on-site support.
Responsibilities as the Senior Outsourcing Accountant:
- Client Accounting: Manage bookkeeping, month-end close, and financial reporting across multiple client accounts.
- Financial Statements: Prepare and review balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Transaction Management: Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax filings.
- Reconciliations: Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Client Engagement: Meet with clients to review financials, provide insights, and recommend improvements.
- Systems Support: Train clients on QuickBooks Online and other accounting tools to streamline operations.
Qualifications for the Senior Outsourcing Accountant:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in bookkeeping or accounting, ideally within a public accounting or client services environment.
- Certification: Bookkeeping certification is a plus, with QuickBooks Online certification preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in QuickBooks Online (QBO), with experience in Xero, Sage, or similar platforms.
- Skills & Attributes: Detail-oriented and analytical with strong client management skills, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to professionalism and confidentiality.
- Transportation: Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for regular client visits throughout South Jersey and the Greater Philadelphia area.
