Responsibilities
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Reconcile credit card transactions and post them to the ERP system.
- Record daily financial transactions, including customer payments, vendor invoices, and journal entries.
- Process vendor invoices and ensure proper coding in the ERP system.
- Assist with customer invoicing and follow-ups on overdue accounts.
- Support the Controller by preparing schedules and reconciliations (e.g., accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounts).
- Post standard accruals and reclassifications.
- Reconcile payroll entries against bank statements.
- Review and post employee expense reports.
- Maintain the fixed asset register and post depreciation entries.
- Assist with capital expenditure tracking and reporting.
- Assist with recording inventory movements, adjustments, and reconciliations in the ERP system.
- Support periodic inventory counts by providing data and recording results.
- Maintain organized financial records to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Assist in gathering and preparing documentation for audits or external reporting requirements.
- Post journal entries and adjustments for accruals, prepayments, and reclassifications.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly and resolve discrepancies.
- Input data accurately into the ERP system and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Suggest process improvements for day-to-day financial workflows.
- Prepare and submit sales tax filings under supervision.
- Assist with gathering data for tax audits or inquiries.
- Work closely with the controller, and other departments to ensure data accuracy and timely reporting.
Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
