Role Overview:
The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and providing strategic insights to support organizational growth.
Responsibilities Include:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Closing Processes: Manage month-end and year-end closings.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts.
- Auditing: Conduct financial audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards.
- Strategic Insights: Provide financial recommendations to senior management.
- Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable.
- Internal Controls: Implement and maintain safeguards for assets.
- Tax Preparation: Assist in preparing tax returns and regulatory filings.
- Collaboration: Work with other departments to support financial planning.
Qualifications Needed:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- At least 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in healthcare.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
