Medical Assistant, Family Practice
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team!

Responsibilities:
-Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
-Perform routine clinical tasks including vital signs, allergy testing, applying holter monitors and sleep studies, electrocardiograms, pulmonary function tests, vaccinations
-Maintenance of examination areas and general cleaning duties
-Scheduling appointments
-Communication with patients regarding test results and plans of care
-Communicate with insurance companies for prior authorizations

Qualifications:
-Ability to work with patients in a friendly and professional manner
-Ability to read and write and knowledge of English grammar
-Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
-Strong organizational skills
Applicants must have either a college degree or at least 12-month experience at a medical office/facility.
Applicants must be authorized to work within the U.S. and be willing to undergo a background check, in accordance with local laws and regulations. Applicants must be able to reliably commute to work and have completed a high school or equivalent (GED) education.
