We’re a family owned and operated plumbing company based out of Palm Bay, FL, serving the community with top-notch plumbing services for only new commercial construction. As our team continues to grow, we're looking to bring on a Scheduling Coordinator to help keep things running smoothly and efficiently. This role will be vital in ensuring that our crews are on time, organized, and dispatched to the right jobs with the right equipment and material as needed. Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule Coordination: Communicate with general contractors to schedule and dispatch plumbing crews according to job needs, timelines, and crew availability.
- Field Support: Occasionally visit job sites to ensure that field teams have the resources and support they need to be successful.
- Software Flexibility: Use a variety of scheduling and project management software tools. The ability to quickly adapt to new systems and tools is essential.
- Communication: Act as a point of contact for both field teams and project managers. Ensure smooth communication between office and field staff, and keep everyone updated on schedules, job progress, and changes.
- Administrative Support: Assist with general office tasks as needed, including organizing job files, handling general inquiries, and managing paperwork related to plumbing projects.
- Problem-Solving: Address any scheduling conflicts or last-minute changes, working quickly to find solutions that keep projects on track and clients satisfied.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in scheduling, preferably in a construction or plumbing-related industry.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with scheduling and project management tools is a plus (e.g., ServiceTitan, Buildertrend, etc.). Must be comfortable learning new software quickly.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with contractors, field teams, and office staff.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability: Willingness to occasionally visit job sites and interact with crews in the field.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to handle unexpected changes and scheduling conflicts efficiently.
