Landscape Construction Team Leader
Atlantic Ridge Landscape, LLC, established in 1993, is located in central Northampton County, PA. We specialize in high-end, residential landscape design and installation services for clients who demand the best for their homes.
We value our employees, knowing that our team members make all the difference. Currently, we are seeking to hire an energetic and talented Landscape Construction Team Leader to join our team. The Team Lead should be a motivated and dedicated individual will be responsible for overseeing the instillation of hardscape and softscape construction projects ranging from $10,000 to $300,000 .
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee a team of two or more including multiple subcontractors on a daily basis from the beginning of a project to the completion of a project
- Organize and plan job tasks throughout all project phases
- Read and layout landscape construction plans
- Develop strong relationships with clients
- Ensure safety of the team, jobsite, and the public by adhering to company safety policy
- Operate and maintain small tools/equipment such as vibratory plate tampers, sod cutters, chain saws, pumps, hedge trimmers, etc.
- Operate and maintain excavation equipment such as compact track loaders and mini excavators with multiple attachments
Qualifications include:
- Minimum 3 years of landscape construction experience
- Having a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and being self-motivated
- Current industry certifications: Landscape Industry Certified Technician certification, ICPI Interlocking Concrete Paver certification, and/or NCMA Retaining Wall certification (Preferred but not required)
- Possess a valid drivers license with the ability to obtain a medical card to operate trucks (14,000 - 19,5000 lbs. GVWR) while towing multi-axle trailers (CDL preferred but not required)
- Prior knowledge of site clearing, grading, excavation, drainage, boulders, flagstone, concrete flat work, natural stone and concrete pavers, segmental retaining walls, pools, hot tubs, water features, masonry structures, outdoor fireplaces and fire pits, outdoor kitchens and living spaces, plant installation along with up to date horticultural practices, lawn installation, landscape lighting, irrigation systems, etc.
