Description :
The Renewables Development Permitting Specialist has expert level knowledge of site acquisition and deployment, including, but not limited to – land acquisition, local site permitting, site preparation and construction, and equipment installation and activation :
- Actively coordinates between parties to resolve delays quickly and efficiently during the life cycle of the permitting process.
- Assist or oversee completion of Zoning and Permit applications for submittal to jurisdictions and coordinates the process with counsel and vendors for acquisitions.
- Coordinate, order, and track titles, surveys, environmental reports, lease exhibits, projects, and programs concerning permitting; continues to monitor for integrity and completeness.
- May serve as a point of contact for the community and / or government agencies.
- Performs on the field ride-out / walk-out of project sites for surveying, gathering and recording details, finding solutions, monitoring progress, and, performing post-construction review.
- Coordinates all phases of construction projects, including pre-construction meetings, site surveys, permit and license applications
- Coordination of any fees required for zoning and permitting fees, etc.
- Communicate all issues to management before reaching critical status
- Request road work and / or road cut permits from the DOT and Municipalities
- This position requires working in a variety of conditions, from temperature-controlled offices to outside elements
- Extended sitting, standing, and kneeling may be required
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
