  • We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Estimator Project Manager to join our growing team in the Concrete Restoration department.
  • The idea candidate will possess exceptional attention to details, be organized, and have a proven track record of delivering accurate cost estimates and managing projects efficiently.
  • To be successful in this position, you need to be analytically minded and a great problem solver.

  • Additionally, you need to have strong organizational and time management skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for estimating and managing commercial construction projects from start to finish
  • Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to develop accurate cost estimates
  • Analyze and interpret project blueprints, drawings, and specifications to accurately estimate material, labor, and equipment costs
  • Prepare take-offs, the scope of work, and bid packages for commercial construction projects
  • Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to obtain quotes
  • Analyze bid results and prepare detailed proposals and cost estimates for clients
  • Manage commercial construction projects from pre-construction to project completion, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Monitor project progress and communicate with clients, subcontractors, and project team members to ensure that project goals are met
  • Develop project leads.
  • Coordinate and manage all projects, and activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control
  • Ensure that project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports, is completed accurately and on time

Education & Experience

  • Minimum education level of a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, or a related field
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience as a commercial construction estimator and be knowledgeable of project management principles
  • Understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications
  • Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs.
  • A high degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with Specialty Contractors or a "Self-Performing" contractor
  • Experience in sales/marketing a plus
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Travel: Travel to and from job sites is required. RAM will compensate for travel expenses if applicable.

Work Environment

  • As an Estimator Project Manager, the employee will be subject to an office and job site/field setting.
  • Work environments may include but are not limited to the following: seasonal temperatures, high spaces, small spaces, loud and frequent noises, standing/walking for up to 12 hours a day, indoor/outdoor settings, and areas close to traffic.
